“Legal Alarm is a project of the Juscutum laboratory of legal innovations, winner of the international competition from the Hague Institute for Innovation in Law in 2016.
The application is part of a program for promptly providing legal assistance and suppressing violations of citizens rights by law enforcement agencies in the event of a sudden start of investigative actions and any unpleasant situation in which you need legal assistance.
The application also contains a number of tips that make it possible to navigate and ensure that rights are respected during such actions.
When you activate the “Lawyer Alert” function, by pressing a button, a lawyer will go to your location.
Legal assistance is provided by JSC Juscutum and legal partners throughout Ukraine.Calls are charged at an hourly rate.
The cost of one hour of a lawyer’s work is 150 euros.
The application allows you to use the “Social Media Alarm” option to notify your friends and family about your activation of the “Lawyer Alarm”, and also, if necessary, allows you to post information about your location on social networks.
If you mistakenly activated the “Lawyer Alert” function, press the button again.
An operator will contact you.
The alarm will be turned off only after verbal confirmation (password) to the operator.
If you are forced to say a password word, say any other word.
We will regard this as evidence of putting pressure on you: the operator will do everything necessary so that the people around you consider the application disabled, but the lawyers will continue their work.If you have forgotten your login and/or password (or for some other reason you cannot log in to the system), you need to contact an operator who will advise you and help solve the problem.
The application does not collect or use information about your location until an alarm is generated.
When the alarm stops, the app stops transmitting your location.
All data about your location is stored in cloud storage.
Legal Alarm guarantees the confidentiality and protection of information.
Our application provides legal support to clients in emergency situations.
Clients can click a button to request legal support.
